Accessibility statement

Our commitment

We want parents with disabilities to be able to create, preview, unlock and read their storybooks, and order a printed book. We are working to improve accessibility across Lullaby.

Current accessibility status

We are working toward the AA requirements of Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 with Israeli adaptations. Our review on October 13, 2026 identified accessibility barriers. Some parts of Lullaby are not yet fully accessible, and full compliance has not been verified.

Accessibility features currently available

  • Pages specify their language and reading direction, including right-to-left text for Hebrew.
  • Story text is available as text on story pages, rather than only inside illustrations.
  • Many controls use standard buttons, and the email sign-in fields have associated labels. These features do not mean that every part of the site is accessible.

Known limitations

Our review identified the following areas that need improvement:

  • Keyboard navigation: some dialogs do not move or keep focus inside them, and page reordering currently requires a mouse or touch.
  • Forms and editing: some fields need better labels, error descriptions and visible keyboard focus. The password visibility button is not fully accessible.
  • Changing examples: some story examples change automatically without a pause control.
  • Illustrations and controls: some image descriptions and control labels need to be more useful and available in the page's language.
  • Digital Book downloads: story text in the current PDF download is stored as images, so screen readers cannot reliably read it.
  • Further testing is needed across the complete story creation, editing and ordering process, including payment and support services.

Accessibility support

If you encounter an accessibility barrier or need help completing a task or accessing your story content, email us:

[email protected]

It helps to include the page address, what you were trying to do and the assistance you need. You may also tell us your browser or assistive technology, but this is optional. You do not need an account to contact us, and you do not need to provide a diagnosis or screenshots.

Updates to this statement

We will update this statement as accessibility improvements are checked and further limitations are identified.
