Adding and Removing Pages
After your story is generated, you can add new pages by duplicating existing ones, or remove pages you don't need. Both actions require switching to List View and entering Edit Mode.
How to Delete a Page
- Open your story — Navigate to the story from "My Storybooks."
- Switch to List View — Tap the List View button in the toolbar to see all pages in a scrollable list.
- Enter Edit Mode — Tap the Edit button in the toolbar.
- Open the menu — Tap the menu button (three dots) on the page you want to delete.
- Select Delete — Choose the delete option Delete from the menu.
- Confirm deletion — A confirmation dialog will appear. Tap "Delete" to remove the page permanently.
Deleting a page is permanent. Make sure you really want to remove it before confirming.
How to Add a New Page
Since you can't create a blank page, add a new page by duplicating an existing one:
- Open your story — Navigate to the story from "My Storybooks."
- Switch to List View — Tap the List View button in the toolbar.
- Enter Edit Mode — Tap the Edit button in the toolbar.
- Open the menu — Tap the menu button (three dots) on the page you want to duplicate.
- Select Duplicate — Choose the duplicate option Duplicate from the menu. A copy of the page will be inserted immediately after the original.
- Edit the text — Click on the duplicated page's text and modify it to tell the new part of your story.
- Regenerate the illustration — Tap the Try Again button on the illustration to generate a new image that matches your new text.
When duplicating a page, choose a page with a similar scene or composition to what you want. This makes it easier to get a good result when regenerating the illustration.
Page Limits
- Maximum pages: Stories can have up to 20 pages total (including front and back covers).
- Minimum pages: Stories must have at least 4 content pages (plus covers).
If you try to duplicate a page and you've reached the maximum, you'll see an error message. Delete a page first if you need to add more.
Reordering Pages
While in List View and Edit Mode, you can also drag pages to reorder them. Grab the drag handle (six dots) on the left side of any page and move it to your desired position.
